One of our Best Soldiers aks for Army Goodell's Prayers

I am in tears as I copy and paste Sabrina's email that I just received. Sabrina has been one of the biggest supporters of Robynn's blog and always the 1st to pray for whomever that asks. Please surround her and Myron in prayer and love. We know through HIM all is possible and we are so powerful!

Here is what she wrote;

Good Evening~ I am coming to you with an urgent request for prayer. As you know Myron just completed his second round of tests for the CHP. Oddly, a couple of days after his lab work was done, we received a letter from the Dr. with some abnormal lab results. Myron's wbc count was low as well as his platelets. Myron heard from the background investigator who stated that the State Board was holding up his file due to this lab work and requested he have it redone ASAP. We received the letter yesterday and Myron went today to have it redone. We received a call from his Dr. about two hours ago and his results were worse than before. It also appears that his iron was low. The Dr. said she took a look at his blood under the scope and saw some odd shaped cells. She has ordered four more tests for tomorrow. After some heavy prodding from My, he finally acknowledged that she would like to rule out leukemia as well as lymphoma and one other thing he couldn't remember. Well, you all know me, I began my search and have been researching everything there is on line. What I came up with is this; WE NEED SOME IMMEDIATE HEAVY DUTY PRAYER. Whatever is going on with My needs to be removed! I am asking for a miracle and that his lab results come back clear. I have always been a believer that all things happen for a reason. I know now more than ever that my God is way BIGGER THAN ANY CANCER or infection. I am now asking that you join me and pray in agreement. . . Myron said he isn't going to worry about it. For all those who know him, isn't this typical "Myron form?" Not that I blame him. . . I wish I could be more like him. However, that's how he processes things.
I would ask that you not phone, text or email him yet. . . I don't want him to be upset. He doesn't know I am sending this right now. I will be sure to send out an update tomorrow, or as soon was we receive word back from the Dr. I love and appreciate all of you so very much.

Big hugs!
Good Night
Bree

Sheila from Jonah's camp is ON it! And please add Scott and Amy Goodman and Jonah's baby brother (who isn't born yet) in prayer. Amy is having problems with her amnio fluid levels that they are hoping are not a sign of kidney problems for this baby (the reason Jonah is in heaven). She is on bed rest now and has a few months to go. Thank you, and God bless!

Good Morning~ I apologize for not responding sooner; I was so hoping that I would be able to give an update by now as well as thank everyone for their prayers. I feel a little awkward right now, as I’m usually praying for others and not the one asking for prayer. However, prayer has always been such a big part of my life, I'm not sure why I'm feeling so overwhelmed. Myron and I have truly humbled by the messages and want you to know that we are feeling every prayer and positive thought. While I have certainly been asking the Lord to remove this trial, my husband and I are remaining hopeful and believing the Lord is preparing great things for Myron. I will be sure to update with the results once they are known. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart. Shelley, you are an amazing woman, and I am so thankful for you and your ministry. May the Lord bless all of you abundantly! Big Hugs! =)

Wow, so I realize that it's been a little bit since I've last updated, and I apologize for the delay. I feel like My and I have been on a roller coaster ride since last Thursday and didn't want to give the latest until we had it figured out as well.

We have some good news and bad news. The bad news is that Myron did not make the April Academy for the CHP. Based on the letter the Dr. wrote for him, he was not cleared. He has an appointment with a hematologist this Wednesday where we hope to understand why My has mild anemia with decreased platelets and white cells. We are asking for continued good thoughts and prayers for some good news from this consultation on Wednesday morning.

The good news is that the Dr. stated she ruled out Leukemia, and lymphoma! (Praise God, as that was my main concern.) Additionally, while My is not able to enter in the April Academy, his background officer said that if he can gain clearance from the hematologist, he can be added to the July class. While My was disappointed that he was not accepted in the April academy, he commented, as he has for the last year and a half; that he will be in the academy he is meant for. . . April obviously wasn't the appointed time. As long as there are no additional budget cuts July will be the class. And so, we wait again. . . .

Sheila checking in... such a SMALL world... our daughter's friend just started at a CHP academy in Sacramento on Easter! I recently heard a pastor comparing "wait training" with weight training. Thankfully Myron and Sabrina have the Lord as their Coach and example (and an army of believers and the power of prayer on their side!) Praising God and giving thanks for the GOOD news, and praying that it will please the Lord to restore Myron's health by medical or miracle.
GOODMAN UPDATE: Mon. April 5, Amy's second infusion did not go as planned. Tate Josiah's heart rate went up and stayed up, so he was delivered via c-section (just past 30 weeks gestation). He is having a rough time in the NICU but is thankfully not on the highest ventilator settings. Please, please pray for him!
