Max & Tait Still Need Our Prayers!

Our sweet, sweet Max endured over 9 hours of surgery today. Max's sister Shelby said it went as well as possible and when she saw him, he was sleeping peacefully in recovery. They have a speedy plan to get him ambulatory and out of the hospital so that they don't risk infection. He has such a HUGE road ahead of him, so please keep him on the forefront of your prayers!!!

As far as baby Tait, here is the latest;

Brad (Papa) and I (Tait and Jonah's Nana) just returned from staying with Scott and Amy for 2 days at Ronald McDonald house. What a wonderful gift for families who have children in the hospital. They keep the expenses down for these families, and have a kitchen and large rooms to accommodate them during their stay. It is right across the street from Children's hospital where Tait will be for quite a while. He is now recovering from his kidneys being removed and is on dialysis and sleeping soundly with meds to help him be free of pain. This is a hard week and they have been through this before with Jonah. He is getting use to the dialysis and still has the ventilator until maybe sometime next week. We will pray that this can come out then and he will be freely breathing on his own. Scott and Amy need our prayers for strength, energy and patience while this process of healing unfolds. They are strong and trusting God for their baby boy's health. He is so very cute and I can't wait until they can hold him again soon. Thank you to all of our family, friends and prayer partners. Nancy

Shelley.. thank you so much for posting on Robynns site about sweet Tait, Jonah's brother. I have been following this site since I first found it through Jonah's blog. We appreciate all the prayers going to our Lord for Tait from so many from "Army Goodell". We all need eachother and this is the working and meaning of the body of Christ. We will keep Max in our prayers. God Bless you all! Jonah and Tait's Nana
