Hi Shelly!

Other than missing your smiling face yesterday, the 3rd annual Robynn Goodell Memorial Blood Drive was yet again a huge success. We raised close to $1000 for a local single mom battling breast cancer and reached almost 60pints of blood donated.

It was heartwarming to hear Robynn the topic of discussion for the day, and people talk about how much they miss her, as well as perfect strangers lend a helping hand.

Brian came which was a great treat for all, as well as Joan and Jennifer. Many memories were shared again, and goodies eaten in the beautiful name of Robynn.

Its hard to believe how long we have been without her now. The Blood Drive will continue to be a way to honor her and her family for many, many more years to come!

A huge thank you to everyone that helped and donated!

Tons of Robynn hugs,

Vanessa Scroggins (aka Ms. S)

John Brewer Update (Sun., May 23): John is having the tube going down his throat removed tomorrow and a trachea done. He still has Pneumonia and needs to be healed of that, but the good news is that his oxygen level is back up to around 93. He is able to communicate by mouthing words. Please keep praying for him to improve each day, the prayers are working!

A new request from Sheila: My cousin Gina (53 years old) was recently diagnosed with "bad cells that need to go" (doesn't want to say colon cancer). Doctor was going to remove it, but decided to try to shrink it first. She has begun radiation and aggressive chemo. She is a strong believer. You all know much better how to pray for this situation and the loved ones surrounding her (and their fear). May God be glorified as He continues to be through Robynn's life and your examples. Thank you!

I'm writing today just to say thank you for this blog... can't begin to describe all that God is doing connecting His followers and His "ARMY" through the technology of cyberspace. It is so touching to keep seeing His faithful soldier, Miss Denise, checking in and praying for Little Tait. As I ask Him to be giving Tait an extra dose of His healing touch, I ask Him to be working in the same way bringing extra healing and comfort to each of you who are missing Robynn, Kelly, and all of the loved ones who are already There. May the knowledge that they are with Jesus, delighting in Him, face to face, bring you comfort this day. God bless you EXTRA Shelley for the labor of love this blog has been! Please give Robynn's babies a hug from someone who loves their mommy even though she hasn't met her.
