120 Pounds!

That's Robynn's "goal weight"! She met with her Dr. yesterday and that's where they would like her to be. She weighed in at 112, so we've got 8 pounds to pack on!
She had a little bit of a struggle yesterday which caused her to take pain and anti-nausea meds for the first time in a while:( She felt better when she woke up today and that's what we like to hear!!!

Pray On for Pounds, Pleasantness and Power!
xoxo,
S

It warms my heart to read such positive entries these last few weeks... My prayer for you is that you will continue to feel well enough to do all the "mommy" things I know mean so much to you. I think this will be the first time in my life that I have prayed that someone would GAIN weight! And to Dana and all the other wonderful ladies who have put so much of themselves into these fundraising efforts...I put my Robynn Ribbon on my car yesterday...which led me to have the most wonderful and inspiring conversation with a total stranger in the parking lot of the grocery store. I think Oprah needs to feature you on her "Big Give". I hope that I can inspire people to perform random acts of kindness as you all have.

Keep getting up "freckle face" you're tough enough to keep doing it. Heard a good quote last night at the Ferndale rotary Club's 40th anniversary dinner(grandpa was a charter member and past president)
"Life is not about surviving the storm, but about how to dance in the rain".
All my love and prayers!

Sure feels strange to pray for someone to gain weight, but you can count on me to be praying. As you know I do not know you, but I love you anyway. So glad for the positive posts lately.

Praying for you and your entire family, Robynn.

hi robynn,

sorry to have been such a loser and not posting in such a long time...no excuse...just sheer laziness!

glad to hear you're a fatty! better you than me! i recommend milkshakes from whitey's and extra cheese an everything never hurts. do all the things i would do if i needed to pack on the pounds. try eating frosting from the tub off a spoon! yum! i used to do that in high school until my mom busted me. moms can really ruin things for us.

sorry we missed the spaghetti dinner. i would have much rather have gone to that than the LAME work thing i had to go to with my husband. the food was awful and it was a HUGE can of boring.

let me know if you got the pampered chef loot yet for OLG. i gave the check to sabrina. i am not done yet, because i am going to do a similar fundraiser with mary kay real soon!

lots of love
dana k

Hi Robynn!

Okay, so personally, I think the only reason you felt yucky yesterday is because you are allergic to the doctors - or at least "sick" of having to go see them! :)

8 pounds is not much when people aren't trying so I know you can do it! I had to laugh at some of the suggestions. I am thinking a little warmed chocolate syrup on everything might be good (heck do it on a strawberry and call it healthy!) or a "family size" Milky Way bar after each meal might be good... can you tell I am suggesting heavy doses of whatever chocolate you like best? However you decide to work on your goal, I hope you get to do it in an enjoyable way with your fab fam!

Love, Kim :)
