Robynn & Uncle Sonny

Robynn's comfort has been short lived since she has returned home. Please pray He puts His hands upon her and gives her some relief. They plan to leave for MD Anderson for her 6 week check up this weekend, so we need her well enough to get on a plane. Pray! Pray! Pray!
Mom/Mum-Mum will be in West Sac to take care of the kids while Brian and Robynn are away...thank you Mum-Mum!!!

Our Uncle Sonny (Julian) had some kind of seizure when he was at CBCC getting his chemo yesterday. His Dr ordered an MRI that we will get the results on today.
He's as feisty as ever, so that's a good sign;)

Philippians 4:8
And now, dear brothers and sisters, let me say one more thing as I close this letter. Fix your thoughts on what is true and honorable and right. Think about things that are pure and lovely and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. (NLT)

May Robynn and Uncle Sonny Praise Him as they fix their thoughts on comfort, healing and His love!

Pray On!

Please keep up the good work in updating us as things change, and we'll do our part sending love, support & prayer!

Well I am happy to report that Uncle Sonny (my dad) is on the mend. We spent the day at dialysis, the cancer center and two other doctors appointments. I know what you are thinking great fun!! The MRI from last night came back clear and his brain looks fine (we were relieved there was one in there!!)Dr. Patel at CBCC told us he does not think he had a seizure but rather a momentary drop in blood pressure, which would cause him to do something that looked like a seizure. He was also worried about the chance of a clot in his left arm since they have tried three times to do the dialysis fistula without success so far, we are hoping the third time was the charm! So he had a doppler ultrasound on his arm today along with a veinogram, where they shot dye in the veins to see if there is any blockage in any of the veins. They found a little narrowing in one of his veins and opened it up with a balloon and are hoping this will help. He is still onry as ever and according to him he is "FINE!"

I want to thank Brian, who even with all he and Robynn are going through got on the phone with the doctors in town to make sure his uncle was taken care of! As they say it's not what you know, it's who you know and it really made a difference!

Sending all our love and prayers,
Monica, Anthony and the kids

Praying for God's mercy, for His healing touch, for a miracle! A single rose...a garden full of blossoms, a single voice...a choir, a single instrument...an orchestra, a piece of bread...a feast, a hangnail...what Robynn has, Lord, I am tempted to ask why some have so much while others have so little and why some know no suffering and some suffer greatly... "In the beginning" You gave us perfection--no pain or suffering--that You intended for us to enjoy forever, but they chose (and we all choose) SELF over You and Your ways. From then on, this WILL BE a world of hurt. That is all we should expect, and anything less should make us fall on our faces before You in thanksgiving. I won't ask why, but will ask that Your plan (which is always to bring lost children "home") will be accomplished through Robynn's life. And I ask that it might please You to accomplish that through a miracle healing...this side of heaven.
