Justice for Aunt Dorothy & Uncle Joe

We received notice today that they have a 16 & 17 year old in custody that have admitted to murdering and robbing our Aunt and Uncle. We have prayed for this day and don't know that we realized its impact. Tanner asked me, "do you think they should get the death penalty mom"? I told him I just wasn't convicted about what should happen to them. I believe I have to give it up to the Lord and let His will be done.
Thanks you for your support and prayers, please keep them coming!

Robynn's tests are done, so now we wait.....

Pray On!

Hi Shelly first of all thank you for posting the prayer request for Blake. That was so very sweet. I don't know how else to get this to you, but I am sending you an up-date, it would be great if you would post that also.
I am so sorry for the tragedy that happened to your aunt and uncle, but am thankful they caught who did it. Let justice prevail.
Thanks again!
Hi Everyone.First of all I want to give thanks and big hugs to everyone who is praying for Blake and all your kind words. You are all so very sweet. We went to his doctors appointment today. His doctor looked at his hands re-dressed them and sent us straight to the burn unit at Shriner's. We saw a list of people all specializing in there own field and all very kind. At this point he has to have surgery on one hand on December 4th. We will find out about the other hand when we go back next Monday. The nurse said we need a miracle for him to not need any surgery. So guys please prey for a miracle. If he has the surgery they will try to remove the skin from his groin to use for the skin graph. If they can get enough skin from his groin he will get to come home the same day. If they are UN-able to get enough skin from his groin and have to take skin from another part of his body then he will be in the hospital for a week. After the surgery and the stitches are removed he will have to wear a special glove on both hands for approximately a year and continue with his physical therapy.Between now and next week we have to change the dressings twice a day and do physical therapy with him to try and prevent any loss of mobility. Sorry if this is all a bit jumbled I am pretty exhausted at this point.Thank you everyone for being so kind. This really is a great community we live in filled with amazingly spirited people. God bless.Blakes mommy. AKA Emma

With regard to your Aunt Dorothy & Uncle Joe, I have thought of them so often and wondered what the status of the investigation was, then on the news I heard that 2 juveniles were apprehended and in custody. I happened to watch a documentary on "The Power of Forgiveness" where they spoke of the Amish community where the children we slain,in addition to the Twin Towers where the remains of the inhabitants were disposed of in a landfill, not to mention survivor Elie Wiesel of Auschwitz. The movie addresses the challenge of forgiveness, the passages in scripture that prmote forgivness,as well as, the human trait for desiring justice...excellent DVD; my hope is that God will put peace in your hearts to best deal with this next to impossible situation.

Next...with regard to Baby Blake, consider our prayers for a miracle on there way!!! I can't imaginge the little having to endure the skin grafts etc.

Well, our prayers & thoughts of support are with you all!!!

Love,
Jill & Bob West
