Prayer Request for Blake

I received this today. Emma was a HUGE part of Robynn's Blood Drive/Silent Auction and her baby Blake is in need of our help. Here is what she wrote;

I am sorry to have to ask this at this time, but we are in need of prayer ourselves. We were at my daughters soccer party last night, when my 1 year old baby boy touched the glass which was covering the lit fire place. We rushed him to the emergency room in Davis, which was the longest most painful ride of our lives. They took us in immediately and started helping him with morphine and numbing cream for his hands. They cleaned and removed all the skin that was hanging and bandaged him up. We went back to his doctors office today, where they cleaned and re-dressed it. We will be going back again on Monday at which time we will see his doctor. She will decide if he needs to be seen at the burn unit at Shriners. They are worried about infection and him loosing any mobility in his hands.So I ask that you please pray for my little man that he makes a full recovery and that we can keep his pain under control.
Thank you Blakes mommy, Emma

it is always so easy to pray for others and yet so difficult when we are need of those prayers ourselves! I hope that sweet baby heals quickly. I hope this for mommy and daddy as well, bacause there is nothing worse than feeling helpless when your child is in pain.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplicaiton, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7

You and the family are in our thoughts and prayers daily. We wish you traveling mercies throughout all your travels this week; and an abundance of grace and continued miracles in regards to your tests, results and treatment options. You are not, and will not be alone. He is right there too and is going through every bit of it with each of you. Continue to remain positive and faithful. May each of you believe with unfailing certainty that what He has promised to do, He will do. We missed you on Thursday; but we can’t wait to hear the great news from Texas! I will be praying for little Blake, that his pain is eased and that he has a full recovery,and for his parents. And Shelly I know your pain is still there but I am so glad that you felt well enough to come back to the blog.My prayers will continue for you and of course Robynn, Brian,and their family. I pray the news will be good from Houston. Have a blessed Thanksgiving.

Baby Blake is being prayed for since we don't want him to be in pain,fearful of his medical treatment, or have any signs of infection! Prayers are being sent for his parents since this has to be so very difficult on them until they know what is what with regard to Baby Blakes hand...we hope you'll keep us updated with what they discover.
