Jeremiah 29:11
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

We have seen firsthand that God's plan might be different from our own. But at the same time we have been witness to countless miracles and a change in our hearts, souls and actions.

The results of Robynn's tests were not as good as we hoped, but could have been worse. The tests confirm that some of the tumors have stayed the same size and some have grown slightly.
MD Anderson wants to for sure get in 2 more rounds of chemo, rescan/test and see if her body can tolerate 2 more after that. If this can be accomplished, she will get a rest from chemo for Thanksgiving and Christmas, and that definitely is a blessing!:)

Robynn,

I have been reading your blog for quite some time - I have lost my sweet sister to cancer and so can relate to the ups and downs of test results....she lost her battle but was not nearly as tough going into it as you are - because 18 months before she had lost one of her children, incredible pain and more than anyone should have to endure. When all seems lost and you want to give up - fight harder like you have been - and soak up every second - like you have been with your family. God does have a way of making it all work out. You are in constant thought and prayer and I hope you can feel that all around you, especially today.

Robynn, Jared and Ari are here with me and are sending their love and prayers, hoping that the next round of treatmants show more improvements. Jared says to tell you he hopes the tumors that are growing will begin to shrink. They are both praying daily for their "big" Sis. You keep "getting up" sweetheart!
As always, ALL our love and prayers!

Dear Robynn and family,
You are in our daily thoughts and prayers for healing and God's peace in the midst of this huge trial. Please know that we are standing strong with you and your family. After checking Jonah's site and comments, I go to your site to see how you're doing. As our pastor (who has been battling prostate cancer for 4 years) says... "Our God is BIGGER than the numbers." We are believing for healling for you. Keep standing strong.. Love, Nancy and Jonah's extended family.

Heavenly Father, please have mercy on Robynn, Brian, their beautiful children, and their extended family. May it please you to do the BIG miracle and HEAL Robynn THIS side of eternity. Not any will but Yours, yet we ask this special favor of the only God who can. May Your heart be touched, Lord, to see their pain and have mercy to heal and restore. Amen!

Good Evening Friend ~

So the message at my church on Sunday was titled, “Where is God in Tough Times.” Perfect timing I’d say. (Thanks God!) He can vindicate you Robynn. Hang in there. When you don’t feel him or his blessing than you must trace him. Trace him meaning, find him in scripture, find him in praise and worship (music), find him in encouragement from those around you. When God is truly your foundation (which we know he is) anything is possible. :o) And that is why no matter the circumstances we must praise him! I want you to read Psalm 34. It is absolutely encouraging! I don’t want to take up the whole blog with it, but, I will leave you with one of the many awesome verses in this Psalm. I will be praying this in agreement with you and the rest of your family.

Psalm 34: 17-18

The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

And so it goes, FORTITUDINE VINCIMUS! Victory through Perseverance! We once again will prepare for battle and be right there with you in the front lines. (Not a one of us are even close to giving up! Am I right, or am I right?!) We will again taste and see that the Lord is good. Have I told you lately, how much you inspire me?? Love you friend!

P.S. I think a Hot Bag O’Doughnuts from Bistro 33 are in order ~ What do you say? :O)

ALways thinking of you, Robynn. I wear my Hayjac necklace everyday becuase it remindes me of my boys; however, whenever I see a West Sac friend wearing her Hayjac necklace, I think of you, how my sister bought the necklace for me at your first fund raiser becuase we all wanted to DO SOMETHING and the only thing we could do was BUY THINGS... :) and then I'm reminded of what a meaningful symbol those little silver charms have become to our community. We're all pulling for you, girl!

Hey girl,
Just thinking about you today. Hope you are having a great weekend with your family. Well, we made it through the first week of school. Lauren loves first grade and Ellie has actually started to become a pretty sweet child at daycare. Yeah, we're thinking there's hope for her. She's not nearly as rotten as she used to be. That's it for us. Hang in there girl. We are thinking about you everyday!!!
Love,

Hi Robynn!
I know it's been quite a while since I have written. I have checked to see how you are and to view photos of you. I know that I have some explaining to do for my absence. Please know that although absent from this blog, you have been ever present in my mind and prayers. I know that I have some catching up to do with promises that I made a few months ago. They're all coming. I have been in a deep fog, but it's so unfair for me to complain to you so I won't. I hope that you are continuing to keep faith. God still has a plan for you. Don't stop your fight. I love you and will further communicate with you "off the record". Stay strong and may God continue to bless you.
- Chocolate Chip
sending hugs and kisses your way.
