My parents dearest and oldest friend has just been diagnosed with Prostate cancer. They seem to have caught it early and we are so thankful, Praise God! His wife Norma(Noni) and family are now researching many centers for the best treatment.
Please keep him lifted in prayer as well all all of "Army Goodell's" faithful warriors.

I am very sorry to hear about your family member. My father-in-law was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in May, he is 74 years. He has been undergoing one of the lastest treatments for the cancer. The doctor he will out live the cancer. The doctor caught it very early, and it sounds as though the same is true for your family member. My father-in-law will not need chemotherapy or radiation treatments with this new treatment. The treatment involves having time-release radiation seeds inplanted round the prostate. The treatment is given directly to the area, and the side effects are minimal. Traditional radiation treatments usually damage the intestines, bladder, and bowel. Tomorrow, he will have the seeds implanted, it has been an almost six month preparation process for the implantation. Hopefully, this will help in your decision for treatment options. He will be having his treatment done in Salinas, California.
As we pray for my father-in-law's health and recovery, we will add your family. In Jesus' name we pray....
