We are Heading Your Way Brett!!!;)

Watch out Oakland, "Army Goodell" will be in full force as we cheer on Robynn's favorite football team and Tanners football hero Brett Favre.
GO JETS!
Robynn, Brian and kids are set to meet us in Modesto, spend some time with Matt, Erin and Maddie and then head up for Sundays game. We have been sooooooo looking forward to this and praying Robynn would feel well enough to go, and our prayers have been answered.....Thank You Jesus!

I ask for your continued prayers so that Robynn can enjoy this trip without discomfort, tiredness or pain and with a full appetite!

Pray On!
xoxo

I'm glad to hear that you are feeling good enough to go to the game it is always nice to get god news when we read the postings. On the other hand not to be a downer but please be carefull at the game I have some friends that work in the area (Fire and Police)and they usually have between 10-16 major assault incidents and they are usually against fans of the other team. Most of them recommend not wearing anthing for the other team or even some go to the extreme of dressing as Raider fans.

I hope this doesn't bring you guys down at all I just want you all to be safe and enjoy the game and your time together as a family because you all deserve it.

Stay STRONG and LIVE on.

So glad that Robynn feels well enough to cheer for football! A very good friend of mine recently played a wonderful song that reminded me so much of your entire family...Gratitude by Nichole Nordamin.

Send some rain, would You send some rain?
'Cause the earth is dry and needs to drink again
And the sun is high and we are sinking in the shade
Would You send a cloud, thunder long and loud?
Let the sky grow black and send some mercy down
Surely You can see that we are thirsty and afraid
But maybe not, not today
Maybe You'll provide in other ways
And if that's the case...

We'll give thanks to You with gratitude
For lessons learned in how to thirst for You
How to bless the very sun that warms our face
If You never send us rain

Daily bread, give us daily bread
Bless our bodies, keep our children fed
Fill our cups, then fill them up again tonight
Wrap us up
And warm us through
Tucked away beneath our sturdy roofs
Let us slumber safe from danger's view this time
Or maybe not, not today
Maybe You'll provide in other ways
And if that's the case...

We'll give thanks to You with gratitude
A lesson learned to hunger after You
That a starry sky offers a better view if no roof is overhead
And if we never taste that bread

Oh the differences that often are between
Everything we want and what we need

So grant us peace, Jesus, grant us peace
Move our hearts to hear a single beat
Between alibis and enemies tonight
Or maybe not, not today
Peace may be another world away
And if that's the case...

We'll give thanks to You with gratitude
For lessons learned in how to trust in You
That we are blessed beyond what we could ever dream
In abundance or in need
And if You never grant us peace

Thanks for continually reminding each of us to be grateful for all the little "things" and to remember that there is always a reason why....

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful time at the game, that Sweet Robynn had vitality, an appetite, and was without discomfort...except for the loss that The Jets had suffered.

Sending prayers, happy thoughts, and friendship for a blessed week ahead!!!
