It's official....HAILEY RAE GOODELL is 7!
We called first thing this morning to sing a joyous round of the ever so popular, Happy Birthday;)
Just like her mother, she was gracious in her appreciation. She was filled with excitement trying to guess what her bday breakfast might consist of and confessed she had run across the cupcakes Brian made and was trying to keep a secret hehe. The local radio station played a special tribute to Robynn and wished Hailey an extra special day filled with her mom's presence.

I don't think it is any 'accident' that Hailey is turning "7" this birthday...I believe the definition below says it all...
The number seven symbolizes God's perfection, His sovereignty and holiness.
1.) God created earth - seven days
2.) One seven-day week is a reminder of our creator
3.) God blessed the seventh day, making it holy (Exodus 20:8-11)
4.)Some examples of 7 in the Old Testament: the first creation story in Genesis, written during or just after the Babylonian Exile, has seven days;

The cupcakes were spectacular! Hailey is so thrilled today she can't seem to stop grinning from ear to ear. Aunt "Enni" also brought some furry friends to share with the class.
I just know Robynn you are surrounding her today! I love to see her smile just like her mommy!

I will never forget how your mom, every year without fail, would sing Happy Birthday to me over the phone. If I did not pick up...she'd leave me a singing voice mail! In fact, the last voice mail I have from her was on Dec. 7 as she sweetly sang Happy Birthday to our little 3 year old Nate :)
Your mom was such a special lady. I was so lucky to have her in my life.
