For the Love of Robynn

Hello Everyone!
As many of you know, I am working on a special book of memories for Brian, Brady and Hailey. I originally set a deadline of January 31st so that we could deliver it for Valentine’s Day, however, I know for some of you… it was just too soon. SO - I’m here to tell you that it is AOK! No more deadlines. No more stress about it. Get it to me when you can or email me with your comments or questions. We’ll deliver it when it’s all ready and filled with hugs and kisses! For details please visit http://raisingforrobynn.blogspot.com and PLEASE share this information as I know some are not aware of our little project!

Thank you!
Kim Funk

Thank you all for your prayers. Larry was in to start his procedure this last week and ran into some setbacks. They were unable to place all of the gold on his liver to begin the cyber knife this week. They were also afraid that he may be suffering from additional back pain from the procedure that they were doing. Due to the length of time he was lying because of these setbacks. He will be in again this Thursday and they will be inducing a tension pnuemothorax (puncturing his lung) in order to move it out of the way so that they can place the rest of the gold in and hopefully start the cyber knife procedure the following week. These procedures are very painful but we are told by the Dr's that they are nothing compared to the alternative of a liver resection and the rehab involved with that.

That being said we lift him up with prayer and understanding.

I also just received a message that a friend (Randy)that I had lost touch with was just diagnosed with MS. It has hit him and his wife pretty hard. But as we all have been doing they have turned to the Lord for his guidance and healing. Please keep them in your prayers as well.

And again thank you from our family for your prayers and kind words.

Thank you Amanda for sharing this "sky Angel" with us. We actually played this at Jonah Scott's memorial service and it was so beautiful and touching. The faith of little children is so simple and we would all benefit so much from remembering to have this kind of faith in our Lord. As the little boy said "It's so important!" And it is so important to know also that our Father suffered as He watched His son die on that cross. He does understand our grief when we lose a precious loved one. I look forward to the day when we all will meet and celebrate around the throne of God. In His Love, Nancy (Jonah's Nana)

half way into the procedure the insurance has now rejected the procedure so everything is in a holding patern for now. Seems they will approve liver resection at a cost of 100,000 but reject cyber knife at a cost of 10,000. Doesn't make sense to us either. We are waiting to hear back on an appeal of the insurance decision for Larry's procedure. Please keep praying. Thank you all.
