Yes, you read it right!
Our Girl has gained 5 pounds! When I talked to her last night and she said, "I'm hungry", I can't tell you how it tickled me. I made her repeat it over and over and told her I could never get sick of hearing that out of her mouth! She has been eating "real" food without complications... what a WONDERFUL blessing!
She has been keeping busy, but not very "cool" with the heat wave hitting us in California. They put up a Pirate Ship swimming pool for Miss Hailey yesterday and my guess is that Our Girl just might join in the fun to stay cool;)

WAY TO GO ROBYNN! I'd like to say out of support I am keeping up my end of the weight gain. Unfortunately it is do to lack of self control. I am so happy to hear that you are feeling better too! I remember my Grandma taking care of my mom when she went through chemo and trying to put the pounds on her. Someone special must be helping out with the meals over at your house;) Have a wonderful rest of your weekend and you already are "COOL" regardless of the heatwave!

Why can't people get excited when I gain 5 pounds??? I am with Kelly...I am gaining sympathy weight too :) Kelly, bring over the twinkies and we will party...we can deep fry them :) Robynn...YOU GO GIRLFRIEND!!! YOU GAIN THAT WEIGHT!!! And next summer we can all remind you, Robynn, that in the summer of 2008 how you were trying to pack those pounds on??? And we can laugh as we do yoga, pilates, Power 90, or what ever the new body fad will be....my vote is CRUNCHES ... NESTLE CRUNCHES!!!

Alright the day has come that I never thought would....Yes...a day that a woman is glad to have put on weight and her friends are actually happy for her....LOL....

So good to hear you are feeling good and enjoying the summer so far. What a relief the pool will be, it is so hot out it is almost unbearable. To think you are headed to Texas next week! Hopefully you can enjoy a little dip there as well. Let the Mexican food weight gain continue in Tejas! :-)

p.s Baby Jonah is so precious. Lord be with his family during these times. It is amazing the perspective offered to us by illness, who would have thought we would praise pee and pounds? Either way, Amen!!!!
