No Funky Fridays for Us!

I'm sorry for the late post, but I was kidnapped!
I'm telling the truth...really I am!:)
This roller coaster ride can get to the best of us and I had some dear friends that were worried about me so they devised a fool-proof plan to have me swiped from home for some FFF(forced friend fun;) For the record, if you've been considering a good kidnapping, I'd have to back ya on that one! Two thumbs-up on the ol kidnaparoo!
Robynn had called when I was wrapped in a towel and trying to get ready with my kidnapper watching my every move. When I called her back I told her I was being kidnapped and she laughed! Some help she was! No, "can I call the police...where are you...RUN as fast as you can screaming for help". Nothing close! She just wanted to know where my kidnappers were taking me and when I replied, "Mexicali"(code for margarita's;) she was even more joyful! I'd get kidnapped everyday just to hear her laugh that precious laugh!

Enough of my antics...what you're really here for is an update on Our Girl Robynn!
Beside a sleepless night, filled with tossin and turning she feels pretty good physically. As we all know, when you can't sleep our minds can get the best of us and lead us somewhere we DO NOT want to be, but as usual our girl put on her Rally Cap and chased the funk away! She helped get the kids ready for school, did Hailey's hair, made their lunches and went to coffee w/ her hubby and had a "date morning" til it was time to pick up Hailey. You GO Girl!

Days 4-6 are still ahead and I pray they don't hit as hard this time!
Get your rally caps on and pray for the same!

Love you all
Pray On!
S

PS Kel and Raj you can kidnap me anytime!!!

Yeah!!! When you all sound happy, I feel happy! I just got my first bracelet from Hayjac...which is what brought me to the blog in the first place...and it is beautiful! I fondly think of you all whenever I wear it(everyday), and have had several other teachers that I work with ask where it came from. A huge thank you to Missy for her incredible generosity!! Retail therapy for a great cause! I truly feel blessed to be allowed to watch and LEARN as you take this journey. I wish you all the very best Mother's Day...one filled with family, hugs, and lots of laughter. I will keep reminding God that it was your fabulous family that has brought me closer to Him. I think this must be worth something...

Dear Shelley and of course Robynn who will read this, I am one of your many prayer warriors. I, with much love and pride, put your ribbon on my car today. I know Robynn from Casa, well I knew and graduated with her sister Jenni. I, as a lurker on this site, just wanted to let you know you all are being prayed for and thought of daily! Love to you all, Carrie Hardacre (Torkelson in high school)

You crazy friend and I am sooo glad that your were kidnapped-how well you deserve it.Thank you again for keeping us all posted on our dear girl.
Robynn-I am praying that you will enjoy the weekend and this nice weather.Sleep well tonight is my new prayer.
I have a question=did you bring home that bucket of sand and if you did I recomend that you sit outside and perhaps put your feet in there to help take your mind to the beach and all them memories you made.
Hailey Rae your ol buddy Miss Denise had to eat some store bought crab-I bet it wasn't as good as yours.
Brian I am glad that you got our girl out for morning.Keep taking good care of yourself.
I am praying in hope and love,
Miss Denise

Kim, you are too funny! I love it!

Robynn,
I just popped in to say good night, you sweetie pie! Brian, make sure you tuck her in nice and tight. Or is that how I like it? Remember when you would stay the night at my house and you so thoughtfully would make my bed knowing I was going to pull it apart and remake it anyway?? I was so picky about my bed. No creases! I am way past that these days... well, sort of. Okay, I'll admit I still like the bottom sheet to be crease free! lol I'll never forget though how you would leave an open soda on the headboard at night and would have a drink of it in the morning. You thought it tasted better that way. Do you remember that?
I can't wait to make some more memories with you! You will get through this! You so rock! Let's hear some more of that Robynn rooaarr!!! :)
I love you so very much!
Love, hugs, and constant prayers!

We just want to let you know that we've been thinking about you all day and sending you positive energy and prayers!

For some reason I was thinking about the day the 4 of us went to see Jerry Maguire some 13 years ago.

Robynn and I had to go to the little boy and little girls room at the same time. When we got back from our call of nature the theater was so dark neither one of us could find our seats and we wound up watching the end of the movie standing in the back.

Love,

Oh, I almost forgot. I was at preschool picking up Troy today when one another woman walked in wearing a hayjac necklace!! :) I immediately stopped her and asked where she bought the necklace. She said she didn't know where it came from, that it was a gift from her aunt in the bay area, but she gets tons of compliments when she wears it! I thought you would appreciate that! I went on to tell her that our sweet girl may have made that necklace and how she was could buy another necklace or bracelet at hayjac.com... lol. Need some marketing people?? hehe!
Good night Sweet Goodells! I'll be here tomorrow!
Love you, want to hug you, and always praying for you!

Shelley...a little time for fun is something that gives you the get up and go that ya' need! Cheers to you.

Robynn & Brian...wonderful way to start the day with a morning date, it sets the tone for the remainder of the day! We are so glad that Miss Robynn had some energy without a case of the 'yuckies' that allowed her to take part in the day to day actvities of lunch making and doing Hailey's hair.

Miss Robynn--continue to feel all of the love of your 'entourage' of friends & family when insomnia strikes; it might not help you get to sleep it'll just provide the comfort of feeling loved, supported, and encouraged.

Well, family Goodell...Happy Mothers Day weekend!!! Be blessed in all things as the weekend unfolds.

In friendship,
Jill West

Bean!
I got a compliment on my Hayjac necklace today (happens all the time)...I was in the Hallmark store shopping for cards. I smiled big, grabbed onto it, then broke down and told the whole story. It ended with me writing down www.hayjac.com on a piece of scrap paper for the store clerks to share with the world :) :) Who knew those necklaces would become such a symbol of inspiration, hope and love to so many people? We're all walking around wearing them proud!
