Texas Bound Again!

After speaking with Brian this morning, I guess they will be headin back to Texas!

MD Anderson would like to re-evaluate Robynn. Her doctor also said he would be talking to the MDA First Phase Team to see if Robynn would benefit from any new clinical trials they have available. Her doctor also said he wanted to present her case to the other doctors in the Sarcoma division to get their opinion on what they feel is the best treatment options. They leave Sacramento May 25 and plan on returning the 29th. The 27th will be filled with scans, blood work, imaging and who knows what else. The 28th they will meet with the medical providers. This will hopefully provide some insight as to how things are progressing and what options Robynn has available.
She is still thriving and feeling great! The “Yuckies” have no place in her life today…HOORAY!

Pray On Dear Soldiers!

Robynn, I am sitting here in tears . . . happy tears of course, but, just tears. I have been praying (like everyone else I'm sure) specifically that God provide a new medical trial that will bring us what we need for you. . . I can not help but feel that prayers are being answered! I have been thinking of one of my favorite scriptures. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.(Jeremiah 29:11)

Last night I was praying and just thinking about all the awesome comments that you have been receiving; especially the impact you and the family are making in people's lives. I was thanking God for your continued grace and perseverance through all of this. I was just reading scriptures here and there and I came across this one:

You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. Genesis 50:20.

Gotta tell ya, that stopped me in my tracks. I feel like this is you. This cancer has been intending to harm you and rob you of everything; but God has a completely different agenda! He has used you to reach so many. I know that you have made a huge impact on so many of your friends and family, but also people who do not even know you; but, know of your trial and are inspired by you and your incredible family & faith! Now, I know things can still be difficult from day to day; but, you are not quitting! That is the difference maker! So, when ever things feel like they may be too big; remind yourself that your God is BIGGER ~ he will never give you more than you can handle with his help ~ so continue to lean and rely on him. Ask him what he wants from you. I can't help but think about how I am going to feel when Shelley makes the announcement that you are cancer free!! :D :D :D Victory through perseverance! You are on your way! God, thank you . . . You so Rock!

Have I told you lately how much you inspire me? Love you friends!

Stand Strong!

p.s. are you ready for a little fiesta?!?!:D Can’t wait to see you

Bean! This is the best news I've heard all year! I've been so invigorated since I talked to you on the phone the other day :) It was ROBYNN again :) Happy, enthusiastic, witty, hilarious...everything I love about Robynn. I had a skip in my step after the call...now I'm doing cartwheels! Hahaha...oh my gosh...I just had a flashback of when you called me to tell me that Hailey asked you to demonstrate a cartwheel and some cheerleading jumps...and you went for it??!! Hehehe. Only to realize things are not the same as they we're when you were 17 years old - Hahaha :) Gosh I love you Bean!! Like I said, it's time to turn this thing around. HEAL GIRL!!

I hear a new little addition came to the Goodell Family....very exciting! I will pray every night for the doctors at MD to have new insight!!! We love you Brian and Robynn and the rest of the Robynn Army! Just know that you are in our constant thoughts and prayer!!! We know the yuckies must come...but we just pray for you to get through them quickly! Kinda of like labor....we just have to remember that it is the end result we are going through all the yuckies for. And the end result we are going for is for Miss Robynn to be on the ROAD TO RECOVERY! We love you guys!
God Bless,
xo,
B.
