On our knees...

Robynn did get some really good sleep last night that was not drug induced...HOORAY!

However, she has run into another complication. The blood that they have been giving her is not keeping up w/ the blood that is seeping into her abdomen. Her hemoglobin is extremely low and her belly is filling back up. This morning she had an Angiogram to see if they could find the bleeding vessels and shut them down. This was not possible, because of the shape that the vessels take on due to Angiosarcoma. Her vessels take on a spiral shape so a catheter cannot get through to make this procedure a success. Their second option is to administer a super duper clotting medication called Factor 7 to control the multiple bleeds. If this is not a success, they can hopefully radiate the bleeding vessels and shut them down.
Our final option is surgery. As you can imagine, surgery poses a HUGE risk to our sweet girl and we would hope for any other alternative.

She is flat on her back til 6:45 tonight because of the Angiogram, but I'm happy to report she is nausea free! Our daily ritual is being maintained with her hair and makeup getting done and she is looking as gorgeous as ever!
As always, her spirit and faith is unfaltering! She continues to smile and keep us smiling even when faced with countless set backs!
She truly is AMAZING!

Please...back on your knees and pray for a sustainable outcome!

BIG Robynn Hugs,
S

Robynn, I remember when we were livin in Modesto and you and Jenni were on the swim team. You were at the first swim meet that you had entered in the breast stroke, you were just learning it. When you had finished you heat you were so happy, as you were walking from the edge of the pool toward me the judge came up to you and told you that you had been disqualified be cause you hadn't used the proper stroke for the entired heat. I remember the hurt on your face as you started to cry. My first reaction was to "strike out" at the judge for hurting you........I have that same feeling now, looking for something to strike out at for this. I know God doesn't make deals, I've asked him, but if he did ........ Keep fighting sweetheart, you can do it.
Love Dad!

I met a wonderful lady in my last class and I told her about your situation and she replied:

"Thanks so much for remembering me from our last class (Pedagogy) & sending this message. I will PRAY for your wonderful friend. our Creator is the great physician & can do a complete healing through doctors' skills, treatments & His personal touch. That's what I'll pray for & be assured that (with your permission) I'll put this on my church prayer chain for many more to lift up to the Lord, our provider.
I may be able to donate a small amount in another month. I know the children & her husband will really appreciate your attention to their finances. Please keep me informed as to her treatments & I'll try to go on the website to read about her."

I'm so thrilled to see all these people come together for our girl!!! LOVE YOU SWEETIE!!!

Robynn, please know that all of your former Farmers buddies out of the Hayward Claims Office are pulling for you and praying for you. Lois, LaShonda, Jenny, Jaeran, Mike Roach, Sue Schaecher, Kate Snow, Mike Nealon, have all been asked to hit their knees and put you at the top of their prayer lists. You were the light of that office, and your spirit touched many. I want you to know that they all are lifting you up to our SAVIOR, asking HIM to have much mercy on you, your children, and Brian, and get you through this. If anyone can do it, HE and you can do it. You will get up Robynn. This is my wish...this is my prayer.
I love you more than I can ever say. Keep looking up sweetie.
Love you much -

Dearest Robynn,
I wish we could jump in my queen bed and have a sleep over like the old days :) It seems like only yesterday we were spending our weekends at La Bou and having tanning marathons (with Mary delivering the fruit plate). My life would not have been nearly as full if I had not met you. I mean what kind of friend sings the entire "Happy Birthday" song to you every year for 20 years (on voice mail several times at that)??!! Only the best of friends. I am truly blessed to have you in my life. Please keep your head up, fight on, stay strong and beat this thing down!

I LOVE YOU.

I've been instructed (and slipping on my task!! Sorry for the delay!)to send you love and prayers from my family who absolutely adores you! Lambkin, Rob (Bobby), Wendy, Dad & Sue, my stepdad- who said he remembers a very confident beautiful girl that he enjoyed- and he is technologically challenged, so I don't know if he'd be able to find the comment section... lol... shhh! Don't tell him I told! Aimee Butterfield sends her love! She's trying to figure out a way to sneak in and see you! Don't worry she won't, we wouldn't risk an infection! We all love you soo much! Keep fighting! LOTS OF LOVE!!

I am really behind! Today I felt like the marines, you know how they do more before 6am than everyone does all day? Well, I wouldn't say the 6am part, but I was moving! I rented the hall for our fundraiser which has been moved to April 26th due to availability. We were planning to have it at Carol's house, but we needed a place that held more people. Our goal amount has increased, but we'll let you know more when we do. We're getting donations for prizes and raffle drawings. Kim and I stopped by Casa and spoke to the principal who has said they will do what they can to help with the fundraiser and advertising. So many people want to do what they can to help you Sweetie! That goes to show just how special you are! Not that I ever doubted it! ;)

You know you look so beautiful in these pictures! I miss you!

Lots of love always!

Okay, now I'm becoming a blog hog, but I've almost forgot a few things! Kim and I left Casa and headed to my house. We heard that a procedure didn't work so Kim wanted to check on a backup plan. She spent a half hour on the phone with the cancer treatment centers of america describing your situation and if they can help. We've heard some good things about this facility and wanted to hear more about it, and it really does sound like they combine multiple techniques (including medicine, nutrition, spiritual healing, acupunture and alternative medicine) to help heal their patients. I don't know if you've checked into it, but it has had many clients given months to live who have been in remission for over a decade! I know you will beat this, but we want to explore every possible alternative.

Also, you should see these girls digging in their heels to help! I just want to say, I'm glad they're on our side! Yikes!

So much love!! (to the family too!!)

Good Morning Robynn,

I pray you slept well last night. While in prayer this morning I came upon this scripture. I felt an incredible peace when I was done. I hope this will bring you some comfort as well...

"I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth - praise to our God; many will see it and fear, and will trust in the Lord. Psalm 40: 1-3

The Lord sees and hears you. Robynn, you keep showing & telling everyone you meet (at the hospital, and even those who read this blog who aren't believers) how good your God is. He is using this for His glory. We will continue to wait patiently for your miracle! We miss you! (Bunco just isn't the same without you!;o) We can not wait to see you home with your beautiful family where you belong!
