THANKFUL THURSDAY II

Yes,we are back to "Thankful Thursday"! We are very thankful that our girls' blood levels have been so good, that they don't have to drive to Roseville everyday anymore! They will recheck her levels when she starts round 2 of chemo on Monday.
She did find some really cute hats that I'm hoping to show off to you guys! As far as wigs, she is sporting the Katie Holmes look (short bob). She had a minor disaster with another wig. I guess she wanted her wig to have some curl, so she grabbed her curling iron and Yikes, it turned out to not be curling iron friendly! Oops! Oh well!;)

Some other exciting news is that William Michael Harker will be baptized on Easter Sunday at Our Lady of Grace in West Sacramento. Who might his PROUD Godparents be?????
None other than Robynn and Brian! What an incredible Sunday this is going to be!
We have so many reasons to celebrate, rejoice, give praise and thanks!
Lets get this Party started!

"Army Goodell", you are AWESOME!

XOXO,

S

Good morning little Wobbyn!!!
Keep up the positivity and GOD will do all the rest. You have such a testimony. You are such an inspiration. I know that GOD wants us to look at HIS work to see HIS work. No one can tell me that it isn't so. HE gets all the glory and praises. All you have to do is trust and believe that HE can do all things, and obviously you have. I continue to pray for you and won't stop. Don't try curling any more wigs. (smile). Love you and keep the numbers up.

Robynn:
I encourage you to have fun with your wigs. For me the hair loss was shocking at first, especially because I let it fall out strand by strand. This was a dreadful process and made me look tired. A co-worker shaved my head, and I began my wig journey. I had several wigs and had fun being different people. My wigs included the Brady Bunch Mom Wig, the Boyncee Wig, and the Professional Work Wig. I also had fun wearing different hats and head wraps. Hair loss isn't fun, but you can have some fun with it. Afterall, Girlfriend, we have to make the best of what we have. Health, health, health!

Barley Parrish (Corey's mom)

Robynn,

I'm SO GLAD that I got to see you this week! I'm happy you're home, that you're with your family, that you're feeling and looking good, and SO grateful that I was able to make the trip- and the guest list!

You are amazing and inspirational. I'm lucky to be your cousin. And just so you know, you were the reason I started running and joined the cross-country team. Seeing how enthusiastic you were about running and staying healthy, I wanted to do the same and also be able to run with you whenever you visited.

You are a fighter and you can do this better than anyone I know. I love you and I pray for you everyday and look forward to seeing you more often.

Brian,

You an amazing person, husband and father. It is so reassuring to know that you are with Robynn at every moment. Thank you so much for everything you do.

Shelley,

I've been living off of the updates from my mom, but now thanks to this amazing blog I can keep up without bothering anyone! Thank you so much for all of your hard work!

Good Evening!

Robynn, I was so over joyed at seeing you this evening! When we say we miss you, we really mean it. However, I didn't realize HOW much I had been missing you until I saw you! :o) You truly brought an upseakable joy, and peace to me! I couldn't find the words to really describe what your presence meant to me! We needed to see you though, I know that for sure! and I thank God that He allowed this time for all of us!(even though it was for just a short while.) We were ALL so excited; just like kids! Jenny, thank you so much for bringing our girl by; you're awesome!

I have an early morning tomorrow, but, I couldn't go to bed without letting you know how your presence blessed me and everyone else this evening. I took a moment and thanked God and found another scripture.

But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of rigtheousness.
James 3:17-18

Robynn, THAT WAS IT!! The words I couldn't seem to come up with on my own, He gave me the words to describe you and what you mean to me! Your spirit IS pure,(your energy lights up a room!) your smile is peace-loving.(we see it and feel it!) Even during your trials you are considerate and submissive and were asking people about how they were doing, and were interested in what they had to say. You are FULL of mercy, and are GOOD. . .and you are so sweet! ;o) (good+sweet=good fruit!)(smile) You are also so very sincere! That's one the qualities what makes you so endearing! You ARE a peacemaker who lives in peace and are raising a harvest of righteousness in all the people who know you now, are meeting you and of those who learn of your story!! Robynn, this scripture made me cry! He loves me so much, He's given me one of the most incredible gifts . . . YOU! I am truly blessed to have such an incredible example of God's love in my life. Thank you!

Father God, what can I say? Thank you, thank you, thank you! Lord we are thankful for your love and your presence through Robynn, Brian, Brady and Hailey! What incredible examples of the gifts of the Spirit. (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control Gallations 5:22-23) They are truly ALL OF THESE! Lord, through all things, enable us to rejoice in you always. Continue to have your hand upon this family; we are so thankful for your miracles each day and for the healing that is on it's way! To you goes all the glory! In Jesus name . . .

Love you friend. . . Sweet dreams! zzzzzzzzzz

How's our maniac on the bike this morning?
I can say she is loved, blessed, and being prayed for and thought of often!! :)
I hope you're a maniac on the bike again today! But, you don't have to do the bit where she sits on a chair and dumps a bucket of water on her head! That's just going overboard! LOL

Love, hugs and prayers!

Hi Brian and family,
Hope you are having a good start to your weekend. My hopes and prayers are with you and your family. It hit me really close to home when I heard the news. My mother was diagnosed with stomach cancer when she was 41, her mother, my grandmother was diagnosed 3 years after and and then my grandfather 1 year later. It seems to me that it happens to the best. Cherish every momonet that you have with your family because if there is anything that I have learned is that. There is not a night that I don't let my kids, husband and sisters know that I love them. I leave you with this:
GOD IS OUR REFUGE AND STRENGTH, AN EVER-PRESENT HELP IN TROUBLE. THEREFORE WE WILL NOT FEAR, THOUGH THE EARTH GIVE WAY AND THE MOUNTAINS FALL INTO THE HEART OF THE SEA. PSALM 46:1-2

May god bless you and your family and keep you in his care, Blanca from Sutter West in Dixon.

Robynn, my little Birthday Bunny ~
This has been a great week for all of us. Getting to see you enjoying your family and your home is really a blessing. I know you love being a mom, and I want you to know I love being your mom! You inspire and teach me something every day. God is working through you in such a special way. Easter Sunday, you and Brian become Godparents to baby Will through Baptism, but the example of your faith in God is already being shown to him.
Happy Easter to everyone who is on this path with us. God has really brought us together to truly care for each other. Thanks for being here. Love, Robynn's Mom aka Mimi

Robynn,
I miss you already!! I feel sooooo incredibly lucky to have spent some time with you this week. Beaner, I know you know this...but listen up, you're going to beat this thing! I just know it!! I saw it happening with my own two eyes. With all that you've been through, you're still the 'Robynn' we all know and love. I am truly amazed and inspired by your everlasting enthusiasm, your enduring strength and above all your indelible smile that still remains! Even in your toughest hour, you are looking as perfect and put together as ever.

I think a story about Robynn's days as a songleader in high school is appropriate for this post. I bet you could have guessed this if you know her...but Robynn was the girl in the front row that you couldn't take your eyes off of. Of course, right? Other people we're dancing around her, but all you'd see was Robynn??!! It's true. It's why we love her right?! Robynn's personality is magnetic...always was, always will be, not matter what she goes through. It's that enthusiasm, strength and indelible smile I saw only one day ago! She's got it that girl..and it's not going anywhere!
