Keep Inspiring Her!

She had an MRI of the brain this morning and is getting her port cleaned out so she can get hooked back up. She kind of drifts back & forth between sleep and interacting with those in the room. Her blood levels dropped again(8.7) and will probably require another transfusion. She is really pushing to get out of here and get back home. If she does go home, we will need Home Health care to come in and train Brian on aspects of her care that he can tend to.
"Calkan " has just been summoned to read "Twilight" and she is "On It"!!!
Your "commments" are almost more than we can get posted. She smiled so sweetly when we told her about her army taking charge...thank you.

XOXO
Pray On!

Dear Robynn
I believe that our jobs on this earth are to lead as many people to Our Lord as we possibly can. We have a purpose and that is to love and know God. Through your daily struggles and triumphs you have carried your cross with such grace. And you have led a whole "army" to our most loving and gracious God. Thank you for such a wonderful gift you have given. May God give you comfort and rest.

Robynn and Brian,
I hugged Isabelle and Claire a little tighter today. I made sure to give my husband some whoopy last night, even though I was "tired". You will ALWAYS be there to help keep me straight about taking the time to make my family and friends first. Thank you for that Robynn. Thank you. Suzie Shepard

Robynn and Brian,

We are praying for you both during this time. "Please Lord hear our prayers and give these extrodnary people your protection and healing hand, support and comfort them in this time of need". You are both loved by many and even those whom may not know you and you may not know. You have touched their lives in ways that words can not express. It is through your Strength and Love of the Lord and Life that you are an example for so many. I will be getting off of work at 8am on the 15th and live right here in Roseville so if anyone needs anything don't hesitate to call 916-847-9520. But I'm sure with all these prayers that you won't be in there tommorow because this can't keep you down. Even when you return home please let me know if there is anything that me and my family can do; and i mean anything.

Greetings to the Goodells and all the people who share in their journey.

Today it's raining in Northern California and we really need it! But, I think it is God weeping for all of us who think of the endless pain Robynn endures. Water cleans and nourishes our planet and our bodies. And, the rainbow comes at the end of the storm when we can rejoice once again in the promises of hope, faith and love. These are the true gifts of Christmas that each of us receives in the daily entries that are posted. I have thought so often of you the past few months, but until now could not find words to share.

My daughter, Wendy, has offered her home in Roseville to anyone in the family who needs respite from the storm. She is certainly welcome to "hang out" with Mom and Dad so let her know if you need a place of refuge close to the hospital.

We keep our prayer campaign going day and night and know that God is listening. Sometimes, we don't even need to speak, just feel Him.

In hope, faith and love,
Jeannie Grider

Still praying non stop.. You are in God's loving hands. I was on Facebook this morning and I saw some pictures that Jennifer Salewsky had posted from drill team. You have the biggest smile in all of them. Let me know if you would like me to email them somewhere for you ok! Hang in there beauiful girl! Love to you and your family~ Carrie Hardacre
PS. Thank you Shelley for keeping us posted on our Robynn. I check probably every hour or so, but its just because I need my "orders".
PSS. I will also have you know, I have ordered 2 of the Robynn car magnets and both have been stolen, so I am currently without a ribbon on my car :0( BUT if a stranger/thief/kid wants to know about and join the Goodell army by taking my magnet, the more the better!

I needed a little assistance on what to say today. So I found a quote I thought would be inspiring....
"Treasure the love you receive above all. It will survive long after your gold and good health have vanished."

I admit that I enjoy reading all the comments left on the blog for you, Robynn because I think everyone's thoughts and comments give strength and power. We drove up to the Roseville Galleria for a little bit of shopping and I could hardly wait to get home and see if there was an update. I'm glad you are enjoying "Twilight" and hope that you will be home with your family very soon. It seems so many of us have the same first impressions of you - I remember once when you came to visit me in the dugout during T-Ball and you were looking fantastic in jeans and high-heels on the ball field and I was thinking, how can a mom be so beautiful and fashionable and so sweet and friendly all at the same time?!!! If I'd been wearing those heels, I'd have got my heel stuck in a gopher hole and splat on my face! Robynn, I hope these stories bring a smile to your face. You are very special :)

I just went through some of the past posts and found one of my sister's last comments on the blog, ...I thought I would share it with you again....I know how much she loves you Robynn and the whole Goodell family....it is through tears that I type, but I know Kelly would want to remind you how special you are....thank you Robynn for being part of Kelly's renewed faith in God. Thank you, so much! We are sending so much love and prayer for you and Brian and Shelley and your entire family.

Here is Kelly's post..(I can hear every word)

I am so happy to hear you are OUTTA THERE!!!!
Keep the faith....I know I am;) Brian is a much better nurse than anyone, just ask Chris...hee....hee! I am thinkin' aboutcha everyday, even though I don't write everyday. You are such an inspiration and we all love you soooo much. Father Craig talked about suffering today and you are so incredible, you always have such an upbeat attitude, you took time out of your busy schedule to write to everyone thanking them, when we all should be thanking you!

Take care Goodell Clan,
hugs,
Kelly H.

Happy Sunday Robynn,

For some reason I keep thinking of the Pat Benetar song, "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" and you totally rockin' in! It is clear, nobody can you can keep you down. While I admit I am not a "Twilight" fan, simply because it looks like too many pages-it is great that you have Cal to share it with you. I am happy to read "Belly Laughs" by Jenny McCarthy to you anytime! :) I feel inspired by the scriptures, the comments and knowing that the Lord is listening to us. Again, you have changed a lot of lives lady and it's not over. I can't wait for your Oprah appearance as a "favorite thing"!

I am diligent and bold in my prayers for you. Healing is happening, believe it. I pray that the Lord guides those that interact with you and that your relief continues.

Don't you ever stop smiling your smile
The pain may be fierce, but it's just for awhile
NOBODY IS TOUGHER THAN YOU!

I will check in on you all later.

Standing Strong,
Kellie Stroud :)

Just saw your favorite team coach get interviewed on 60 minutes. So much like all of you Goodell's...kind at heart, generous in spirit and actions...very much aware of a bigger picture...no wonder Robynn and Brian are such huge fans!!!

I don't know you Robynn, but I have been watching your fight closely because you know my friend Bree-Ann and also my husband Chris Greenhalgh knows you. Last night I was praying for your relief, the Lord told me he has a very special place ready for you because you have been such a light for so many people, have brought so many to Him, and have been such an amazing example of what a true follower of our loving Lord and Savior is. May God grant you peace. I can't stop thinking about you either.

Just continuing to send our prayers, faith, & hope for news from the doctor's that will 'spring you' from the hospital!

Enjoy being read to, that is one of those simple pleasures that we tend to forget when we're "old" enough to read, but really, who doesn't like closing their eyes and imagining the story in their head as it is being read.

Here's to a good-nights rest,lack of the yuckies,& some pain free relief.

Alrighty, take good care "Goodell Family" you are never far from our thoughts!!!

Love & friendship~

Shelley- I'm not sure if this works, so you may need to test it prior to publishing. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Hi guys,

I received a hilarious Elf Dance from one of my 3rd graders and knew the instant that I saw it that it would surely bring a smile to your faces. I used the photos from your blog, so they are a bit grainy, but still sooo funny! I figure everyone could use a good laugh during this crummy time in the hospital. Enjoy!

Hi Robynn, You may not remember me but we met a few years back through Dina after I moved out here from NJ. I've been following your blog for awhile and just wanted to let you know how often I think of you and your incredible strength. I remember that you and Dina use to meet to run in the mornings, last week I ran CIM and those last 5 miles were so hard but I ran them for YOU! It carried me and actually made me feel stronger when I thought of your battle and how tough you are! So keep running, keep fighting!
God Bless,
Chris
