Robynn's questions everyday to Brady and Hailey

I challenge us all to follow in Robynn's footsteps.
Ask your own children the following and make sure you take action yourself!

1. What was the best part of your day today?
2. What did you do to make someones day better?

Those are your orders....

Pray On!
S

Thoughts on yesterday will come later;)
Have a safe and wonderful New Years Eve!

Both Chris and I asked the boys those two questions yesterday. What a positive way to communicate with our precious kids. Again, just another proof of what a wonderful person Robynn is..

Although we don't have lil' ones...I think these are questions we should ask ourselves to focus on what we are grateful for and how we can be of service to others.

Wishing your entire family and the hoards of friends...a peaceful, safe & joyful New Year's Eve & Day!!!

I am sitting here thinking of my blessings as I am looking back at 2008. Robynn has come to my mind over and over, for so many different reasons. She really has changed my life and the way I want to live it. This year, I would like to resolve to live more in the moment like Robynn. Embrace my friendships and remember what is important. Do something everyday to make someones day better and practice the gift of Grace.

I just wanted to stop by and say, Happy New Year Goodells! This evening I am counting Robynn as my biggest blessing of 2008 and my inspiration for 2009 and beyond!!

That Gerorge Straight song is playing in my head right now...I am carrying her love with me....

Amen Mandy!!! I couldn't agree more with you and we don't even know each other, but through Robynn we ALL have a special connection.

May the NEW YEAR bring happiness, good health, and faith in our Lord to all.

Wow - what an age 12 & 16, to be asking my two children these two qusetions! True eye, mind, soul and heart openers. As Stina stated, Robynn's touch is ever present!

I came home from the West Sac memorial to my husband and 18 month old son. When I shared the questions that Robynn had asked Brady and Hailey with my husband, I broke down. My husband saw how touched I was by this and agreed that this was a gift that we will share with our children. I never had the pleasure of meeting Robynn, but I can assure you, her spirit will forever remain in our family.

Just wanted to send a note hoping things are going well. I know this is a very tough time but I think of your family and check this blog daily and hope that as the days go on it's getting a little easier. You are all still very much in my thoughts and prayers!!
