Baby Steps Continue!

She's creepin her way back to comfort! She's still struggling, but it is not as bad as last night or this morning. The Dr said that days 4-6 after chemo are the worst, so she is right on schedule...DANG IT! She is extremely tired and hopes to get some relief with the help of a drug (ABH) that MD Anderson produces. Come ON ABH!!!! Do Your Thang!!!!

Texas Hold Em news...

Here's some info on the Poker Tourney:

1st: Terry Dudgeon (Girl Power;)
2nd: Adam Souza
3rd: Mike Hansen

"Best Dressed Man of the Evening" - James Coghill

Special thanks to Rod Kahele and Brett Shaffer for running the tournament.
Also, to Kirk Eknes and Kristy Dwyer for running the bar.
Extra special thanks to all the lovely lady volunteers
(West Sac meets High School Friends:)
The place looked amazing and they far surpassed what they set out to raise!
The most memorable moment was the end of the tournament, when Raina's aunt Terry WON and donated the prize money back to Robynn!
Also, Robynn's generous neighbors bought the 'big' silent auction prize
(Paso Robles Wine Getaway)
Thank you to everyone who planned, donated, volunteered, played, showed up to say "HI", or anything else related to Robynn's Benefit.

An UNENDING Round of APPLAUSE to the planning committee:
Kristy, Bree, Carol, Kim, Melissa & Kerrie

Love to All!
S

Dear Robynn, family, friends and supporters in this Honorable Army that offers prayers of hope, comfort, love and faith.
I have been so inspired by the messages that Shelley posts and the comments that connect all of us who pray for Robynn. The Poker Planning team did a wonderful job. Ron and I really enjoyed meeting so many positive and caring people. My daughter, Wendy and I have been training to run a marathon to raise funds for cancer research. We think of Robynn with every step and hope that research will find the cure VERY SOON. It's hard to be patient when you see a beautiful woman like Robynn suffering. Stay strong, BELIEVE and keep singing the precious lyrics to Callahan's beautiful tribute to Robynn.
With a song in my heart...Jeannie Grider

Hi Robynn, just wanted to let you know how wonderful it was to see you yesterday and Saturday. As always you are an amazing woman and friend. In all of this you were worried about your house being messy, which by the way it was spotless. You are too cute. You have amazing children and an amazing husband also. Keep up the fight to beat this. I wish i could be there every day for you. I love you. Little Kimmy

I just received the sweetest note from a gal in Corning, Calfornia and it's just for you Robynn - read here:

My name is Paulyne White. I have this most fantastic underwriter (and friend) at Allied Insurance and I would not want to try to do my insurance work without her. She makes my working life so much easier. Her name is Tara Pauly. Tara knows I am a Christian and a prayer warrior so she has shared Robyns story with me and directed me to her web-site. Thank God for all those who are working and praying on behalf of Robyn and of course, a special praise to her sister-in-law, Shelly who keeps all of us informed daily. What a wonderful world this would be if we all had sisters-in-law like her. On Monday evenings the church I attend, Harvest Christian Center, here in Corning, Ca has a group that meets for special prayer requests and because of Tara, Robyn can add to her list of those who love her and are praying for her our little group. Never give up Robyn, remember our Lord, Jesus Christ, never gave up. He just kept carrying that cross up to that hill for you. And how he has blessed you with such a wonderful, loving family, even a niece that writes you a song. WOW. And if there was a contest for having the most caring friends, I think you would be the winner. Time to head over to the church to pray for you, Robyn and I consider that a privilege. In Christian Love, Paulyne

Delighted to share :)
Love, Kim
and Thanks Paulyne!!!

Hi Robynn and Brian! Just wanted to say hello! Sorry I didn't get to see you on Saturday to give you a hug, but I showed up a little late. The tournament was great! I at least lasted until 7pm (after a couple more buy-ins)! It was so wonderful to be surrounded by everyone that loves you once again. My prayers are endless.

Much love,
Vanessa
