Dear Friends and Family,

I apologize for making you wait this long to hear our new "Plan of Attack"! But it was important to us that Robynn and Brian had a chance to talk to our immediate family before I addressed this news with you.
Todays scan confirmed that the tumors have either stayed the same in size, increased in size or reproduced. This reaffirms the decision to stop the chemo. There is just no reason for Robynn to endure these miserable side effects at this point. The only other option is another type of chemo (Gem/Tack) that she will do as an outpatient. It is a much lower dose and will only take a couple hours per week to administer.
We are disappointed and sad beyond explantion, but
We REFUSE to let this knock us down!
We REFUSE to live without Hope!
We REFUSE to live without Faith!
We REFUSE to live without Prayer!
We REFUSE to live without Smiles!
We REFUSE to do anything, but STAND STRONG!
We expect nothing less from you!

Please turn your voices up to the Lord and ask Him to guide us through our next challenge!

You have your Orders...
Pray ON Faithful Soldiers!

Love to all,
S

Good morning Robynn :)
Hope you're not sick of me yet, but I just had to let you know that "Dr. Kim" got online last night (of course) to check out the new meds that Shelley mentioned. I read a lot of VERY positive things in regards to BETTER results from that type of chemo, so we just have to think, "WHAT WAS THE HOLD UP HERE!?" Let's get on with the good stuff!
Take care of you and yours - and know that ALL of your girls(here, there and EVERYWHERE) are sending lots of hugs via the internet waves!
:) Kim

Bean, This is one my favorite songs. I've been listening to it, thinking of you...

quietly while you were asleep
the moon and i were talking
i asked that she'd always keep you protected
she promised you her light that you so gracefully carry
you bring your light and shine like morning
and then the wind pulls the clouds across the moon
your light fills the darkest room
and i can see the miracle that keeps us from falling
she promised
all the sweetest gifts
that only the heavens
could bestow
you bring your light and shine like morning
and as you so gracefully give her light as long as you live
i will always remember
this moment

~ The Sweetest Gift, Sade

Robynn...I am not there, but I am with you.

I LOVE YOU,
Kerrie

Robynn & dear Goodell Family:

No words can convey what a hug can say, when we need comfort it can be given in a look, touch or smile, and support is the feeling you get when you know that you are loved, cared about, and being prayed for--all of these things are true for all of you; from all your Blog commentors & many others who don't know how to post on a Blog.

Now you are working on plan "B" and we're all here to be your cheerleaders and loving safety net.

In friendship,
Jill West

Robynn and Brian,
What a tough journey you are on....but thank God you have one another. You are such an amazing LOVE STORY for us all....an inspiration....a testament! You have been knocked down time and time again....(it kind of reminds me of Bruce Banner, when he would get knocked down...and THEN....he would get that look in his eye and he would GO GREEN.....and turn into ....the INCREDIBLE HULK!!!!! And he would pop open a can of WHOOP ASS!!!!!

Robynn, you have been knocked down, more than anyone should be....but you are OUR HERO!!!! You just keep getting up...and get your second, third and fourth wind. Cry when you need to! Punch someone...Brian! or Shelley! :) kidding of course....I mean, unless it would make you feel better??? :) 'Hit Weeza!'
Robynn, we just are cheering for you and we know that you can get through this. WE KNOW YOU CAN!! GO HULKSTER ON US!!!!!
You are a blessing to all of us out in Robynn FanLand! WE LOVE YOU! WE LOVE YOU! WE LOVE YOU!!!
God Bless you,
Brandy

Dear Robynn,
I think of you and I ask why. Why you? Life's journey can be one of the most frightening experiences we go through. Like peaks, there are valleys. God didn't promise us that there wouldn't be trials and tribulations. But we do have a promise of His everlasting presence. I know that He walks with you Robynn. Therefore, fear no evil. For He is with you. He's a Comforter early in the morning. He's a Comforter, in the middle of the night. He's a Comforter, when the thieves of evil try to rob you of your joy, of your happiness, of your life. But, fear no evil. No matter what the doctors say, or what the medicine doesn't do, we have a Master who can overrule it all. I know I am preaching...but I am trying to emphasize to you Robynn, do not be discouraged. Keep the faith. And keep STANDING STRONG. Prayers are answered. We are all praying. I love you.

Footprints in the Sand

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.

In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there was one only.

This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints, so I said to the Lord,

“You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there has only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?”

The Lord replied, “The years when you have seen only one set of footprints, my child, is when I carried you.”

Robynn, Our Lord will carry you through this. God will never, ever leave you. And you will never be alone. You are prescious to HIM and you are prescious to all of us! Hang tough and stand strong!!! We are all behind you!!!
God Bless,
Brandy

So, just in case you forgot, (since I know you’ve been a little busy lately) it’s the third Thursday of the month. That’s right, Bunco tonight! The theme is Hawaiian Beach Party. We will be toasting to you this evening with a Mai Tai, in our grass skirts, and lays. We’ll miss you; however we’re looking forward to having you back next month!! : )

This morning I was reminded of a song I heard a few years back. Thinking about it today gave me some comfort. It’s called “He’s an On Time God”. The chorus goes like this:

(He's an on time God, yes, He is).
Oh, on time God, yes, He is.

(Job said), He may not come when you want Him,
(but He'll) be there right on time;
(I tell ya He's an) on time God, yes, He is.

Isn’t that the Truth?!! How many times have we stressed on a situation at first glance, and maybe feel like it’s impossible, but, it works out, when it seems hopeless!! We certainly wanted better news, but, I’m confident that He’s not done, and He will intercede Right on Time!

Scriptures:

As you know, we consider blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job’s perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy.
James 5:11

Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God.
John 14:1

AMEN to that!! Have I told you lately how much you inspire me?! : ) Robynn, Brian, and Shelley continue in your unyielding faith. We look forward to the miracles on the horizon.

Big hugs and smiles to all of you! : )

Robynn, we have many prayers for you all the time. There is not a day that goes by we don't think about you and hope that you are smiling that big smile we see every time we are blessed enough to see you! You are an amazing person with an amazing husband and family around you...you will fight this, I feel it!!

Just remember Alyssa will be praying for the "YUCKIES" to go away every night.

We love you, Amber & Family
