Robynn,
I was so disappointed to hear about the chemo reaction and unpleasant side affects. I am sure that I speak for many of us reading the blog when I say... If there was any way to minimize your pain and discomfort, we would drop everything and make it happen. However, since we cannot relieve you of any of the physical pain, we are here for you in every other way. I hope that you find some comfort in knowing that you are with us constantly. At the grocery store, I am thinking of you and hoping that you were able to keep food down today. Taking Lauren to dance, I am thinking of you and hoping that you had enough energy to hang out a little with the kids today. When I wake up and go to sleep, I am thiking of you and hoping that you are resting peacefully.
I am not surprised, but always amazed, at how you have continued to fight this battle with a positive spirit and your unwaivering faith. We are all humbled by you and your strength. And although it seems like you can handle anything, I too hope that you are in for some "smooth sailing." I hope you have a nice NAUSEA FREE weekend with your family!
Thining of you always,
Tonya Sandoval & Family

Hi All,
I know, it's been awhile...sorry! I'm still reading your blog everyday as I pray and hope that everything will be ok. As I read your blogs through my tears (some sad some happy) I'm reminded of just how amazing the Goodell family is and I'm how great full I am to have been in your life, even if it was a smart part...lol Jenn did a great job of taking me under her wings (love you)hee hee
Anyways, I hope that today is a great day for you and I hope you bounce back soon. I'm always thinking of you!!

With all our love and prayers,
Kristen, Ken, Kendle and Konner

Every time I read this blog, I leave reminded of a greater purpose in life. I would love to say that I pray everyday, for everyone...but I haven't. I pray for Robynn, and every member of your family. This is pretty significant, considering a week ago I didn't pray at all. I don't know what it was about the blog that was so inspiring... maybe it was Robynn, and her beauty and the incredible photos... Maybe it was Shelley, who has so amazingly maintained this blog.. Maybe it was all of the amazing friends and family who have come together and supported this family in such amazing ways... Maybe it's that I also have a third grade boy and a six year old girl...whatever it is, I want everyone to know that I lead a different life after learning about Robynn. I appreciate the "big" stuff alot more. I sweat the "small" stuff a lot less. I look forward to washing clothes and loading the dishwasher. I will continue to pray, every day...for everyone of you... but I want Robynn to know, she made adifference in my life. She made a difference in my children's lives. I am a better person because of her. And I promise, that this family will have my prayers...always.

Good Evening Goodells:

I hope that your day was nausea and pain free. So, things have been incredibly busy for me this week. I was becoming frustrated since I had been meaning to send you a scripture and just did not had an opportunity. I finally realized that I was trying to do things instead of allowing God. So, I asked him to help prioritize my schedule. I soon realized that Satan has a way of keeping us tied up so we can not be victorious in some of the really important areas of our lives; like our prayer life! So, I had to acknowledge that Satan got me side tracked this week. I must confess that I allowed him into my thoughts as well; and I admit that I doubted our God and His incredible ability to still perform miracles. In any case, I will tell you God provided an hour of free time for me this afternoon where I was able to just spend time in His word. Totally incredible! (Thank you Jesus!) So, that being said, here are a few scriptures for you.

You hear, O Lord, the desire of the afflicted; you encourage them, and you listen to their cry. Psalm 10:17

We will shout for joy when you are victorious and will lift up our banners in the name of our God. May the Lord grant all your requests. Psalm 20:5

I will be glad and rejoice in your love, for you saw my affliction and knew the anguish of my soul. Psalm 31:7

All you who put your hope in the Lord be strong and brave. Psalm 31:24

Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. Psalm 51:12

Okay, so I know that there are quite a few, however, think of it as one scripture for each day next week. As you can see, these were all found in the Book of Psalms, however, I found of ton of great scriptures. I just thought I’d start here. :) So, here’s what I believe I am suppose to share with you. We can never give up; not even a little bit. Be on guard; the enemy does not want us praying for you Robynn; he will get us side tracked with anything and everything; we need to be bold and assertive and rebuke the enemy away from our thoughts. Our Lord hears us; each and every one of us. Those who have never prayed before and are now praying for the first time, (which I say “Praise God” for that!) and those who are gifted in prayer, He is listening; do not become discouraged or give up.

Continue to think on what is good and joyous; picture Robynn completely well and what you will feel like when Shelley makes that announcement! Picture it; right now. . . the feeling you have now, is the feeling you must hold onto when we think of Robynn and when we pray for her. Not one of doubt or worry; but one of authority! We have an incredible God ~ He is bound by no one; (only ourselves.)

God sees our pain ~ He is with us. He is faithful AND He is always RIGHT ON TIME! We must all continue to be strong and brave because our Hope is in Him. He can heal Robynn; He can even create the miracles using the doctors that treat Robynn; or those of us who are searching the internet for new medical trials. We are not to give up! He will sustain us.

So Robynn ~ I know that the nausea and discomfort is not fun; and as many have stated before me; if we could, we would all line up to take our turn for you; but, just keep thinking renewal; you will be soaring like an eagle in no time! Your faith, endurance, drive, determination and perseverance will get you through; even when you feel like taking a break; just keep holding on. I told you I felt an indescribable Joy the other morning; still waiting on the Lord for the miracle that accompanies it; however, I almost feel like He was showing me how I need to pray for you; overflowing with JOY!! So, that is what I will be doing; not just praying; but praying in an abundance of JOY for You, Brian, Brady, Hailey and Moose. And I joyfully await what we is on the way in the near future.

*Sorry this was so long. . .

Love you Friend ~ Have I told you lately how much you inspire me?! ~ FORTITUDINE VINCIMUS!! (Victory through Perseverance)
