Our girl Battles On!

Our girl is still battling nausea and some pain. She can't take any pain meds right now because they are too hard on her tummy. They are going to try a sublingual from of Adavan and see if that helps. Her blood levels are outstanding! Praise God!

As usual, she is a TROOPER! Brady had an oral presentation on Theodore Roosevelt and Robynn made it through without incident! He was ADORABLE! My Mom, Mimi and I had worked on his costume a few weeks ago and it really came together. He had on a coonskin hat, round glasses, 50 year old deer skin vest, cowboy boots and carried a flintlock rifle and buck knife. He was the "real deal"!

Please continue to pray for comfort for our girl! We need her to feel better so she can gain strength for what lies ahead!

Love you all!

Can't wait for Friday to get here!

Hi Guys!

So, I have a confession to make. I have been feeling really envious of my husband these last few days! He has seen you guys almost everyday this week!! Shoot, even my dogs love seeing you and have seen you more than me! Now, as much as I know how much Myron loves you guys, and I am so glad you are all out and about, I don’t think I can take much more of this!! ;) jk of course, but, just know I think about you guys daily and it is really great to hear that you’re getting out and around. Keep it up!

So, I have two scriptures for you this evening. One is a little longer than the other, but, both were encouraging. Here goes:

So then, just as you trusted Christ to save you, trust him, too for each day’s problems; continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and let your lives overflow with joy and thanksgiving for all He has done.
Colossians 2:6-7

Second Scripture:

Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Psalm 37:4

Lord, we give you all the glory as you are so worthy. Thank you for your word that we may meditate on your scriptures for peace, joy and healing. Lord, we lift up the Goodell family to you. Specifically, we pray for Robynn’s health and the nausea she is dealing with on a pretty regular basis these days. Lord, we want to see Robynn be able to eat without pain, nausea or vomiting. Lord, she needs her strength and this will only get better with more nourishment. So, while you are nourishing her spiritually, emotionally, and mentally, we ask that you would allow her the pleasure of being able to eat and keep everything down. Lord, I pray that you would heal this area of her illness so completely that we will soon be reading about Robynn making her raspberry truffle brownies and enjoying several herself with no problems! (Mandy said those brownies are one of her favorites; mine too!) Thank you for loving us enough that you’ve allowed Robynn to be a part of our lives. Surely we are blessed!

Lord, we also lift up Brian, Brady, Hailey and Moose (yes, the dog too)! Continue to strengthen them and help them to continue to delight in you through all things. Lord, we ask that you would give them the desires of their hearts which is a wife/best friend and mom/best friend, who is cancer free. Help them to remember to trust in you, even when they don’t understand, for you ARE in control and you delight in giving them their heart’s desire.

Father, we also ask for your traveling mercies for all of Robynn and Brian’s family and friends who will be traveling for the event on Friday. Lord, we look forward to what you have in store; we are expecting GREAT things; and we know you will not let us down. Continue to be our ROCK; and grant the Goodell family rest, comfort, and peace in your presence alone. We look forward to the continued miracles you show us each day. Thank you that Robynn will be eating again very soon, and continue to heal her. In the name of Jesus. . . Amen

P.S. Tre and I were talking earlier about giving blood. . . he just turned 16 so he is now able to donate. He is a little nervous, but, is very glad he will be able to give blood for you on Friday. :)

Jeremiah 29:11- For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

YAY! We are pleased that your blood levels are stabilized and have been praising God for all the triumphs you have made. Our prayers will continue to include your strength, vitality, & complete restoration, in addition to, lack of nauseua and continued improvement in all things.

How nice that you could attend Brady's starring moment and how wonderful you had the warmth of love and family with you.

Sending friendship & blessings~
